Wigan Wallgate Station was another victim of the mindless town planners of Wigan. One of the many examples if its glorious Victorian heritage bulldozed and replaced with a faceless cheap excuse. Thankfully the original Station remains fairly unchanged but at platform level the damage is very evident.
