This was a video that Movie Mix Productions did for us a year ago during the EagleWings Open House. It shows the inside of our train building where we stage and store our trains. We then shot a Southern Pacific freight and a Santa Fe passenger in different areas of the layout. Have fun!
Another collage of segments that were shot during the G Scale National Convention this past April. We have a 5 unit lasp-up of GP-7 pulling a long freight, an Amtrak train, a 4 unit set of F3's pulling 18 streamline cars, and a few other surprises. I hope you enjoy this!
This is video that was shot during the G sdcale National Convention that was held in the Phoenix area this past April. Most of this video does not have sound. Hope you enjoy the trains!
This video segment shows an Amtrak train and two different Intermodel trains with lots of power up front. Those LGB Genesis locomotives and USA Trains passenger cars is the smoothest train I run. Everything hugs the rails and seems to float down the track!
Here we have 3 Southern Pacific F units pulling a reefer drag from track 2 to track 1. Waiting for track 2 is 6 Southern Pacific diesels in charge of a long merchandise freight.
These scenes where again shot during the National Convention this past April. There is a short segment where there is no sound. Sorry about that.
All locomotives are running on battery power and are being controled by Airwire. Airwire is a really great product! Hope you enjoy!
Double headed Santa Fe 4-8-4's pulling a long set of boxcars passing over a Union Pacific Big Boy from USA Trains dragging a whole lot of P.F.E. Reefers.
Sorry about the barking dog. He loves trains too!
The Palo Verde and Southwestern Railroad is an incredible outdoor layout designed to incorporate the realism of the Southern Pacific line as it ran through California and Arizona during the 40's, 50's and 60's. Our trains run through mountains and forests, around lakes and over streams, as they operate on 4,000 feet of track. All trains are battery powered and remote controled.
This video segment was shot at night as a Intermodel train transverses the layout. I like the way the light bounces off the water as the train glides by! I think video shot at night brings on a dramatic look at everything. I hope you enjoy this!
