This is set after the divorce. Triple H misses Stephanie and he's the only one that knows he does. The black and white pictures are the past. Everything else is now.
Stephanie wants to go her own way, and Triple H lets her, because he knows that she'll be back, because they truly love each other, and nothing can ruin or take away what they have.
