the 'vikings' at the Icelandic Festival of Manitoba, fire rubber tipped arrows at the losing player of the Road Hockey Rumble game in Gimli, Manitoba. (Aug. 6th, 2006)
so i drove myself to Powell River, and decided to film snippets along the way to keep me entertained. The next few clips are all from this trip. the tunes in the clips are the most interesting... in this clip: on Old Dewdney, just about to go over the Pitt River Bridge, listening to "hey boy hey girl" by The Chemical Brothers :D (Feb. 21st 2007)
so i was walking outside the Vancouver General Hospital... i stopped, and looked up. above all the bustle, there was this incredible natural phenomenon :) (Feb. 15th 2007)
Just north of Húsavík, on our way to Ásbyrgi. This is the furthest north I will get in my journey. Not far from the Arctic Circle, I was looking towards it, out over the Greenland Sea. It was a beautiful coastline. I had a moment :)
After dropping off my first Couch Surfers in Nelson, BC... I was totally full of a love for life while driving back to Christina Lake :D
It was a really great experience, sharing one of my favorite places in the world with some awesome travelers :)

just racing around with my dad's friend in his yacht, and us in the 'satellite ship' pretending it's some kind of a james bond movie? haha, we just had the music.
We were hanging out at my family's place at Pender Harbour for a few days, and on the way back to my cabin (from probably getting coffee). We had an awesome drive along Garden Bay Road :)
Sun shiiine and good tunes!

My Couch Surfers and I had had a few drinks, and were bored and cold in the cabin... so with French being a language we all spoke (other than English), we decided we'd try and make up alliterations in French. I was lost when the Spanish came out, never mind the Portuguese and German :S
